Baker is the founder of FlightAware and has served as Chief Executive Officer since 2005. In this role, he leads the direction of the various business units and corporate growth.
Baker brings years of experience as a driving architect of rapid growth start-ups from both the technology and business sides as well as enterprise (>$1M) sales and partnerships with Fortune 500 companies. He has been in the Internet application and services business for over a decade and is a published author on the subject of Internet protocols. Baker has served as a consultant for Fortune 500 companies as well as technology companies internationally and frequently speaks at aviation and technology conferences.
Baker is a passionate photographer, pilot, and worldwide traveler. He lives with his wife and daughter in Houston.
Baker holds an FAA Commercial Pilot certificate.
