Boeing 747-400 — - This BA B747-400 passed just 1000 ft below us approx 675nm inbound to Bangor, Maine from Southampton UK. We were in Falcon 900EX at FL38 (on Atlantic route F) westbound when this 747 slowly passed under us as we were routed direct to Bangor. Image Nikon800E 24/70 2,8 lens too short really pity I did not have 70-200 lens. Anyway this is a crop from 36mil sensor. Prob closest ever to another aircraft over Atlantic. Date April 4, 2013
