IMO the Talon T-38 remains to be the sexiest jet ever designed with its perfect lines and curves. Its always been my favorite. Great photo. Worth framing.

I love the T-38, but it's cousin, the F-5, is also very sexy and bigger and so if I had to choose, I would pick the F-5.

Roland, yes the astronauts do fly the T-38. They are based at several airports.

Many years ago I spent a few years working T-38's. I don't remember the tail pipes like the ones in the picture. Maybe old age is catching up with me.
