I know the Hellcat had a P&W 2800 ci engine. Just wondering if the Bearcat had the Wright 3350? I worked on the 2800s for overhaul, and installation of the 3350s in B-29s.

The Bearcat had the P&W R-2800 just like the Hellcat.

Got the opportunity to be able to seat inside both of these birds and hang out with the pilots back in 2007 at the CAF Group One Airshow for Wings Over Gillespie.
