Interesting design approach replacing turboprops with turbofans. Shame it never really "took off" so to speak. Couldn't really compete with the turboprops on a "pax cost per mile" basis in this size class I guess.
Alan Hume, Reading the Wikipedia article on it, it seems like it may have been designed as a risk hedge against stricter regulations against turbo-props that perhaps were never implemented?
Is this AC gravel certified for non paved runways...
