The rain had just stopped falling when N819AX landed, and by the time it departed a couple hours later the skies were clearing and the sun was breaking out. And when this OAE heavybird left RNO enroute to Cherry Point, it was really and truly "heavy" ... over 340 Marines with full gear, tons of other cargo, and a full fuel load made N819AX use almost all 11,000 feet of runway 16R to get airborne in the thin air of the Truckee Meadows.
