Airbus A380-800 (G-XLEB)
British Airways Airbus A380 G-XLEB sunset departure at YVR for LHR with afterburners selected ;)
Comments
Yes, afterburners selected only for engines #1 and #2. Strange...
Great shot Kent - perfect timing! Looks like the blast from #1 and 2 produced a once-in-a-lifetime diffraction of the sunset :)
https://flightaware.com/user/mohenley Thank you Mark. Correct on your science for the tongue in cheek description ;)
That's a fantastic shot. I see you used your special after burner lens filter.
Great shot! The afterburn on one and two is strange. Possibly errors with 3 and 4 afterburners. I have heard of errors saying that only two go at one time.
Great shot!! AB's 3 + 4 aren't selected as they aren't allowed to go supersonic so close to the airport, wink, wink. Wonder, does British Airways provide ear protection for those sitting aft of the wings?!?
