Emirates lands in Doha with world’s shortest A380 flight

Thursday, December 1, 2016 — 1 December 2016 – DUBAI, UAE – Emirates today launched the world’s shortest scheduled A380 service, flying a distance of 379 kilometres with a total travel time of 1 hour and 20 minutes from Dubai to Doha, and 1 hour 10 minutes on the return journey. The latest Lufthansa fleet aircraft has completed its maiden flight to Munich around three weeks before delivery. The pictured Lufthansa Airbus A350-900 took off on its first flight in Toulouse on November 29, 2016 but without passengers.
