SEATTLE (AP) — American Airlines says their maintenance team is inspecting an airplane that caught fire as it prepared to take off from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport Wednesday, but there was no immediate word on the cause. It’s a sad fact, but it’s a rarity to find women in the aviation industry. The Air Line Pilots Association, which represents pilots at major and regional carriers in the United States and Canada, says that women make up just 5% of its 53,000 members.
