Taxes do not lower the emissions caused by airliners. Just a lame attempt by the leaders of these socialist run countries to rob money to support their habit.

Trying to collect illegal taxes the hope was to tax OTHER people from other nations flying into one of the EU member countries because outsiders can't protest directly not being citizens of one of the EU member nations.
