Wish I was in Boston at the time of arrival! But happy to see JAL be the first to serve the US with their 787! Congrats! Wonder when ANA will send their 787s to the US! :D JAL will also serve SAN with their 787 in the future right?
Saw it land at BOS Sunday morning. Very overcast (OVC003) but very cool to see it pop out of the clouds. Only problem, it's so quiet the event was, well, a bit uneventful! Cool to see though.
Also the first time there is a non-stop flight to Asia from Boston.
Would love to see one of these beauties come to where I live. However, I don't picture anyone doing 787 service out of KOMA ever (not when most of the traffic these days seems to be B737s, MD80-class or assorted RJ's). Only way we'll see a 787 here is either a special charter or some sort of publicity tour (and don't hold your breath on that for KOMA, either).
It's great news to hear of the 787 finally doing a commercial flight to the US. I would love to see it fly in and out of Denver (KDEN) soon. I can't wait for that to start happening.
