"Ya gots ta know tha rules to play by tha rules..." I still have a hard time understanding why they are going after the Fed-Ex pilots because someone else shipped a package with the wrong quantity listed.

The article says they're going after the companies involved who shipped the materials. Says nothing about Fed-Ex pilots. Is there something else?

My apologies Loral, The FAA released 10 plus notices today, and I appear to have mixed up some details. Actually, the FAA is defending the pilots in this case. Here is the press release. https://www.faa.gov/news/press_releases/news_story.cfm?newsId=18934

Well, now I am confused. The link in your post above says FAA is going after Fed-Ex. Either way, would think the fault lies with the shipper and not the carrier. But then again, this is the FAA and they generally have a way of screwing up a one car funeral! All three of those companies that shipped the goods are not newcomers to air freight. They outa know the rules!!!
