FAA declares ADS-B radio network is complete

Today, the FAA announced that the nationwide installation of NextGen's Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) radio network is complete. It supports a satellite-based surveillance system that tracks aircraft with the help of GPS, providing more accurate aircraft location information than the current radar system.
