Boeing 747: 2017 May See Last Flight on US Carriers
In September of last year, the chief engineer on Boeing Co.'s (BA) 747 jumbo jet program, Joe Sutter, passed away at the age of 95. Now, the last two U.S.-based carriers still flying the plane are setting the stage to retire their remaining 747s, probably by the end of this year.
