Looks like the rebuild on the engines didnt go too well since one of them packed it in about a year after overhaul. They were supposed to be updated for better life as the originals were very prone to failure.

Hate to see this.. It is a great Bird to be remember for all time..

You and me both as the time and effort spent on rebuilding them waa great and they were supposed to be so much better than the old ones. To see one fail with probably no more than a couple of hundered hours is terrable. I would have thought that a spair would have been built then also.
