It took two years to find that Air France Stall/Mush accident. The Air France left debris so the staring point must have been somewhat accurate.

I don't know if the link works but its a detailed account of flight 447 investigation.

Hopefully Malaysia Air 370 is found, soon or someday.

The headline is a tad misleading. When they say "air and sea search... could end this week" it implies that they expect to find it this week. In fact, they will probably suspend the air and sea *surface* search and focus on an underwater search, which could of course last forever. Beneath the surface is still the sea back in my neighborhood.
