Upstate New York with the Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge, the Montezuma Wetlands Complex, and the Finger Lakes make for a crowded airspace at lower flight levels during Spring and Fall migration.

I work near the airport and I can attest to the numerous amount of birds. It appears that their favorite perch is located at the approach end of rwy. 22 on power lines.

reminds me of Johnson Island when "Gooney" birds are sitting on the runway. Those birds needed to be removed before we could land.
