Beautiful Sunset 180° Curves (NASA502)

Submitted

As sunset ensued ahead of an approaching rain-bomb-storm about to hit Santa Cruz, CA; I noticed a contrail headed east-to-west. Quite unusual for Santa Cruz, as we normally have air traffic approach SFO & SJO on a south-to-north flight pattern. Now, unless it's midnight or otherwise,I thought it be well & true to check out my FlightAware Site! (flightaware.com) More...

Looking at some if the past flights, this is a very busy aircraft, lots of interesting flight patterns.
I would LOVE to know what they are doing !!!

I saw this flight on this evening and on a previous occasion as well. Thanks for the information on it's mission.
