Perimeter Metroliner crashes in Sanikiluaq, Nunavut, 1 dead

On 22 December 2012, a Perimeter Aviation Fairchild Metro 3 aircraft registered C-GFWX, chartered to Keewatin Air, crashed during a second landing attempt in blowing snow at Sanikiluaq Airport in Nunavut. There were two crew and seven passengers, including one infant, on board. The infant was fatally injured in the accident. The aircraft sustained substantial damage.
