Southwest plane forced to make an emergency landing in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - A Southwest plane traveling from Milwaukee to Baltimore made an emergency landing in South Bend Tuesday afternoon. While in the air, passengers reported the smell of smoke inside the cabin during their flight. The South Bend airport was the only nearby airport that could accommodate that size aircraft.
