United Boeing 737-700 near Washington on Feb 18th 2018, dual autopilot failure

A United Boeing 737-700, registration N29717 performing flight UA-1068 from Newark,NJ (USA) to Bogota (Colombia), was enroute at FL340 about 100nm eastsoutheast of Washington Dulles,DC (USA) when the crew descended the aircraft to FL280 out of RVSM airspace due to the failure of both autopilots.
