Lockheed P-3 Orion (15-8215)
A USN P3C Orion in the pattern for touch/go landings on Rwy 16R on 3.6.17. (Cn 5560). The aircraft is attached to VQ-1 'World Watchers' based at NAS Whidbey Island, WA.

Even as they are being phased out by the 737 derivative they are a constant presence in the skies near NAS Jacksonville. Used to work them out of NBU (the late Glenview Naval Air Station in Chicagoland) That's only a memory as is the airfield that used to be there.
