— — - An SP-5B of the VP-50 "Blue Dragons" based at NAS North Island taxis in San Diego Bay.  Taken from the fantail of the USS Kitty Hawk 1967.  I remember they would start the takeoff run from midway between North Island and San Diego and be almost out of sight by Point Loma before they slowly lifted off.
