First experienced T-bolt2 at Fort Irwin, CA (now NTC) on an Army Reserve exercise in 1980. It was over us and on us before we knew it. Never heard it coming-only heard it going away. As OPFOR, we were dead meat. Very possibly the best-ever ground support aircraft.
