Looks like an enemy aggressor aircraft at Top Gun.

Wasn't this the same platform for the T-38 ???

Alan, this is the platform for the T-38. T-38s are two seaters and mainly used as trainers. Luke AFB in Ariz. use to have these aircraft but I'm not sure where they are stationed these days. I've looked at the satellite pics of Davis-Monthan AFB, AKA the boneyard, and have seen some T-38s/F-5s parked there awaiting the chopping block. The Thunderbirds used the T-38s for a short time also.
