Cessna Skywagon (N1028F)
Comments
Where did he get those floats? From a scrapyard?
Looks to me like a working airplane that spends a lot of time in the water. It at Lake Hood and Lake Spinard taking off on the channel between the two lakes. These are not show airplanes these airplanes that have to make a living and they are worked hard and put away wet. Often the airplane is based at a lodge in the back of beyond and sits at a dock or tied out for weeks. As long as that crud on the side of the floats is not from saltwater the corrosion is not a big problem.
