BOEING 727-200 (N7293U)
KSJC - Must be Summer months as this 06:30AM for KORD United 727 rolls onto 30L for departure. The UAL 727 departed usually 100% full and used a lot of Runway.The 30L vantage point back in the mid 1990s was a narrow walkway along Airport Rd.

Classic bird and livery! Long live the tulip!
I'll agree totally w/Darryl that the 722 is a classic bird. Alas, I don't think the livery is the best one UA ever had, but I'd definitely rank it high on the "Historic UA Livery List," and it sure as heck is far and away better than that awful Battleship Gray scheme that UA wore for awhile. And this Blue & Red Tulip design was also better than the single Blue Tulip that UA had. Super snap, T.
