Boeing MD-11 (N1754)
KSJC- 12 R departure this day for the Tokyo - Narita bound MD-11. Note I am standing at the end of the runway - this before SJC extended the runways. This MD-11 would use a lot of runway. I was also able to get many years of MD-11 video at SJC. Date apprx 1994 1995

Great action picture Tom! Positive rate / gear up!. Worked at SJC with OC in 1978-80. I remember a P51d parked in this general aviation lot in the foreground that was not flown. Any information on this plane? Rumored to have been owned by a farmer up in Redding...
Thanks Ned. All we ever heard about the P-51 was the ex wife got it in the Divorce settlement - though never confirmed I did hear that from 2 different sources who didn't know each other. I have the reg on the P-51 in other photos and on video.
