I first served as an FE on this exact airplane, among others, at Piedmont. I was told my flying skills sucked canal water, when it came to complex jets.. Piedmont had people of a discerning nature. Luckily, as technology made certain talents moot, I went on to the 737 series and Airbus Automats when USAirways took over.
I have the occasional dream of not pulling off too much power when landing this thing.
I never made a good landing with it and was glad to be assigned to a simple airplane like the 737-300.
I didn't have the right stuff.
