Old hangar 1. They gave hot air balloon rides INSIDE during Navy air shows back in the 80's

Wow, I didn't realize the siding had been removed but still an impressive building. I used a live a few miles from there and really enjoyed the air shows. And I remember the balloon rides too, static displays at one end of the hangar, balloon rides at the other end.

I was just outside this hangar last week. Full of weeds now.

There's talk of putting the siding back on it. Not sure when though.
