Northrop T-38 Talon (68-8172)
Comments
From Tyndall AFB in Florida. I wonder what's contained in the second seat's white box? Test and Eval electronics? Perhaps it is for the pilot's personal gear storage as this T-38 has no under belly pod?
Pilot requested travel bin in rear seat, as he would have less drag and didn't have to stay within certain air-speeds.
Falcon05, thanks for the clarification.
The first exterior pod for travel as I recall seeing was in August 1977 at the former Duluth AFB in Minnesota, mounted underneath a very nice T-33.
Your T-38 photos are superlative work, by the way.
