Airbus A320 (N569JB)

This was the first of two JBU fleetbirds to depart Reno for Daugherty Field within 35 minutes. The second departure, jetBlue's "Clear Blue Sky" (N632JB), was quite unique because when it took off from here, the landing gear remained down. Due to a mechanical problem, "Clear Blue Sky" made the entire trip from RNO to LGB empty and with the gear down. After completing the trip, N632JB was out of service at Long Beach until this morning when it resumed flying on a Long Beach-Seattle run.

Greg, Serge, fholbert, and Alien ... Sorry it took me a few days to reply. Just want to say Thanks to each of you. Serge, although I did visit the tower a while back, this pic was not taken from the tower. As Tom ("Alien") said, there is a mountain near the airport that I climb when conditions are right (meaning the rattlesnakes aren't around). I took this from it.

Degree of difficulty is 10. Gary gets 5stars for just reaching the spotters location afoot,and 5 for the photo . Braving the wind and weather adds to the difficulty of the claitity of the pic. Reno area spotters know for what I speak of...
