Airbus A300F4-600 (N174UP)
Lifting away from RTIA's runway 16R at 6:22 AM in wonderful early morning sunlight, this Worldport-bound UPS A306 (N174UP) came right past my position on Lima taxiway and rotated just at the perfect moment at the start of its RNO-SDF flight.
Comments
If I'd been any closer the wing would have passed right over my head as it went by. It was an awesome experience to be standing halfway down 16R at the Lima intersection snapping this heavy Bus coming right at me full speed on its "D" roll. (I can't wait to do it again ... lol).
Wow! Amazing shot Gary. That's just incredible.
Very nice, Gary!
Are you in an airport vehicle Gary or do you have one of those big umbrellas and a cooler beside you? Great shot, feel the energy as they thunder by!
Awesommme!!!
Looks like you are certainly having some good times out there Gary! Thanks for sharing them! 5* as usual
These Reno shots are breathtaking thank you *****
Excellent capture, Gary!
Mark S., Greg, Mark T., Roy, Dave, Christoff, and Dwight >> TYVM to each of you for your comments. They are very much appreciated. Christoff ... Hello, and many Thanks for your kind words. :-) Mark T. ... (Big grin) Airport vehicle with a blinking yellow light bar on top. It was neat; the short segment of Lima taxiway (just the part between the active parallels) was (sort of) "reserved" for me for awhile. And BTW, the umbrella, folding beach chair, and cooler are what I use when I'm on the rooftop location ... (another grin).
Fantastic shot Gary! Way to capture the liftoff with the beautiful mountain background.
great photo, gary!
Fantastic shot, Gary!
I never get tired of looking at this great capture!
Kevin, ... Howdy, and Thank You. This is a very nice comment and I appreciate it.
My apologies to R X, Tyler, and Darryl --- I had not seen your wonderful comments until just now as I was reading Kevin's comment. Many, many thanks to each of you also. (Wave to all)
