McDonnell Douglas MD-88 (N404NV)

Submitted

This photo of N404NV arriving at RNO from KLAS was snapped a few months ago. On 31 Mar 2018 (seventeen days ago), N404NV was WFU and went to Victorville where it is now in storage. It had made its final revenue flight for AAY, a round-trip run from KLAS to KPSC (Tri-Cities, Pasco, WA) and back, the day before, on 30 Mar 2018.

Click on the link below to read the FlightAware squawk regarding a CBS News 60 Minutes segment about Allegiant. It aired last Sunday evening (14 April 2018); exactly two weeks after the AAY Mad Dog seen above was WFU.
As the old saying goes, a picture is worth 1000 words ...

Poor old lady. I see mould on the top side of her fuselage.. But she had a proud, long life.. Have a sunny retirement, old girl..

Hal! LOL mould? You must be referring to the paint that has let go on the upper fuselage.
