That's Airway Drive in the background. Also, in just a couple of years, that area of bare earth and a huge section of airport grounds adjacent to it will be RNO's new air freight cargo ramp. It will be being relocated to that area from its current location north of the passenger terminal.

Gavin, Boss, and Dave ... Hey, howdy guys, and Thanx for the comments & complis. My next climb up there will be my 40th. I love going up, esp in the spring and fall, but on my last hike up there last week I saw what I have been carefully watching out for. With the super mild weather we've had, I knew the lady rattlers are now mamas ... and last week I saw some "kiddies.' Two little ones and if there were two there were more. So no more hikes up Rattlesnake Mtn for me for at least 6 weeks or so.
