Airbus A320 (N834JB)

Submitted

It finally happened last night: for the first time ever, the city of Reno has direct service to the East Coast of the United States.
At 8:42 PM last night, as the final few moments of daylight still illuminated a part of the sky, jetBlue's N834JB, "Keep Blue And Carry On," taxied under a colored water cannon welcoming arch and into the alley at Reno Tahoe International to inaugurate JBU service to The Biggest Little City.
The celebratory activities that took place after this flight had ramped at Gate B6 started at the gate and went all the way to the baggage claim area ... and lasted from 8:42 PM until 12:15 AM when this A320 pushed back for the return flight (and the first-ever regularly scheduled RNO-JFK trip) to NYC.
