"Kippie Lee" was built in 1945 but the war ended before she saw service. She was immediately sold into private ownership and has always been privately owned to this day. She was once painted with US Coast Guard livery but she was never a Coast Guard aircraft; the livery was for a promotion. She seats eleven passengers in the most luxurious comfort ever experienced by a human in a DC-3. And she recently proved that miracles really DO happen, dreams really CAN come true, and that there is a fabulously kind person somewhere in this world. She did all that by flying an old passenger 55 years back in time to the days of his youth, and for 70 minutes she flew that old guy back through the wonderful era of the propliners once again.

Thanx, Dave. I will be emailing you, Cliff, Greg, Alien, and Viv. Alien was the only one of you who lives close enough and he had to decline.
