McDonnell Douglas MD-82 (N501AA) - The last MD-82 in American's fleet, arriving from DFW, carrying a young friend of mine onboard. He had never flown Mad Dogs with American before, so this was pretty much his last chance. He managed to snag 501 - it was a GREAT day. From the RDU observation deck, 3/24/19.

I would happen to be this young friend that you're talking about. Thank you very much for getting a picture of me, and a great picture indeed. This probably one of the best travel surprises of my life!
