Hmmm, funniest looking Beech 18 I've seen in a long time...how about a Shorts Skyvan.

Strange activity log. Two trips a day from FLL to FPO but it rarely comes back in the system. Hmmm?

Got to be one of the least attractive aircraft ever.

We used to say it was the box the Winnebago came in! Actually the fuselage is part of the airfoil for lift and carrying ability.
Jared Smith
Beauty in function.

Sweet!
was a passenger landing in Philly (1970's) and the tire blew on touch down, the wing came up instantly, the pilot announced (even though busy!) "it's going to get noisy we have a flat tire", he held that wing up until it gave up every cubic inch of lift it could, then bang thump thump thump all the way to the terminal.
Perfect execution in one rugged ship.

I used to call this plane a "flying boxcar."

N80GB is really a Game Composites GB1 unlimited aerobatic and cross country airplane.

The Shorts 360 was a previous registration. Until I can get over 40 votes on the GB1 the image won’t change. What a goofy way to run a website. Sheesh!

I'm sorry GILBERT I'm sure you had no say in the registration marking for your GB1, but this tail marking N80GB has a dark past.
The short Skyvan in the picture was one of three used in South America's government for horrendous undercover work. Three pilots of this airframe (and the other 2) were sent to jail in 2017.
Before being retired, this "flying fridge" was used last in active flights from Miami to Bahamas by a private shipping company in Ft Lauderdale.
