C-FAVA — - This is a De Havilland DH.80A Pussy Moth I found while stopping by the landing strip in the town of Courtenay on Vancouver Island, Canada on 01 August 2014. A remarkable vintage aircraft but a type with a troubled history of structural problems that abated over time but were never really cleared up. Seeing this now rarely found aircraft from the early 1930s was very special.
