BOEING 767-200 (G-BOPB) - Adelaide, South Australia, November 11, 1989. br /br /About to land on runway 23, this was the first Britannia Airways charter flight to Adelaide. This makes it seem as if there was a regular series of charters but there weren’t many after this. I don’t know how many actually did come.

I’m currently checking B767s as part of a long term project going through my photo collection to find photos of aircraft that aren’t on websites that I frequently use for information. My thinking is that if I use a site, I feel it’s fair to give something back.

Excellent catch, photo and history. I remember photographing a Britannia Airways B762 here at BOS in the mid-late 1990's when it diverted from Bangor, Maine (BGR) due to emergency. 5 *'s!
