Most go for the P-51 which is a book of greatness in itself but after finding out what went on in documentary films and hearing from the survivors of WWII crewmembers this airplane is starting to sway me. This aircraft went through a lot of beatings but still flew crews home. Can you imagine if you were in there and a German fighter was shooting at you with just a thin skin of metal between you and big bullets ripping through it? Scary thoughts I admire theses guys, if I were there and I was told to go Ha I would most likely took off running, not really but how crazy.t
