Yeah that's a problem there. Not sure why they would have tried to taxi thru that much water, risk of ingestion is just too high (like the water) not to mention the risk of finding something you didn't expect in there.

He is crazy going to high water levels. Looks like #2 engine is running. Engine will get damage and out of balance.

Maybe the pilot thought those big roundish things were floats.
