I was involved in the Bell 609 prototype at NASA AMES mid 80's-90's, so complex we always wondered how in the world military would maintain such a complex ship. But they seems to have become astute at it. Been a good platform for the Marines as far as I can tell. Don't know the maint. man hours verses flight.
