The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Redstone on behalf of the Program Executive Office, Aviation,
Logistics, Black Hawk Exchange and Sales Team (BEST) Program
announced Tuesday they have three UH-60A Black Hawk helicopters for
sale. The property is available for sale through negotiation at fixed
prices, the Army said in contract documents released Tuesday.
The sale will be on a first-come,
first-served basis. Satisfactory arrangements must be made with state
agencies for payment, pickup, handling, and transportation charges,
when necessary. Payment must be made within 30 calendar days
after purchase, the Army said.
The three Sikorsky aircraft up for sale
hold the following tail numbers: 81-23581, 81-23583 and 83-23880.
Tail number 83-23880 was photographed in Graz – Thalerhof, Austria,
in 2005 and later in Ashraf, Iraq, in 2006.
The aircraft are located at the BEST
Aircraft Consolidation Facility in Huntsville, Ala.
