Kinda looks more like the a departure out of SYD than LAX. A departure to the west out of LAX would put you over water.

Except that they are in a LHD bus, go past the LAX sign, take off on 25R and it looks pretty black in front of them! ;)

I never would've guessed a 777 captain liked rap. I always though "Learning to Fly" by Pink Floyd would make a good soundtrack for one of these.
