Lufthansa Doesn’t Intend To Resume Airbus A340-600 Flights

It’s looking increasingly likely that any of the Lufthansa jets sent to Teruel for long term storage will ever leave the facility. While the A380s aren’t due to return, it seems as though the entire A340-600 fleet will suffer a similar fate, according to new comments from the airline’s CEO, Carsten Spohr. Well that's too bad. That was Lufthansa's aircraft between SFO and Germany along with the A380 depending if FRA or MUC was the destination. It was a pretty comfortable ride and seating layout but it seemed to take forever to get up in the air.
