I just read that there is a small swatch of fabric from the original Wright Brother's airplane on the drone.

If it starts collecting dust on the counter rotating props it can still develop unbalanced rotation. That's about all I can see going wrong. Kind of what having it sit around on the surface could promote.

Or it might just smother the engine and make it unusable. Like when a plane flies through the volcanic ash cloud or a car drives into a massive puddle

Why don't they call it a Drone instead of a Helicopter? They blades will need to be very large to get a grip in the low gas atmosphere!
