IATA Reports Growing Passenger Frustration with Covid Rules

I dont condone unruly passengers and the same time I wont tolerate grumpy bad customer service from irritated flight attendants. So..... Someone better figure out something soon because service is going down the drain and if you dont think it will affect business your terribly mistaken. Most travelers travel out of choice not necessity.

Remove the mask mandates now! It should be up to the passengers to decide. If you have been vaxxed or not its still your responsibility to take care of yourself not somebody else's. If you dont feel safe enough then don't fly! If not flying affects the airlines bottom line they can decide what steps to take at that point.

no passenger gets to decide by not vaxing the putting in danger of any person in his vecinity. Rules and procedures need not be complicated at all : everybody wears a mask until the virus is tamed, no exceptions. Any one who wants to assert personal choice over vaxing and masking, can be handed a greyhound bus schedule book. Also, to get on an airliner, each person must show proof of vacination, no exceptions, in particular no "religious" exceptions. Without these exact rules, the covid wildfire will continue to spread and cause deaths and hosptializations, most of which can be avoided with masking and vaxing.

We are on our 2nd leg of a Trip to Paris-Venice. The rules as stated to transit thru UK were to schedule and pay for a Covid test for your 2nd day (2 Day Test) even if just changing planes and not staying or for transiting and having to stay overnite. After 40 minutes on hold I was told that you could opt out. But you have to fill out a Passenger Locator Form regardless. France requires a vaccination or multiple tests over your stay. Also to eat at a restaurant, visit a museum or landmark or ride the water bus you need a negative test result or vaccination. We saw a families turned away from the Batobus and Eiffel tower w/o these. So far to Italy we had to take another test to board our plane. And another will need to be done to return to US.
