How will it work if the captain accidentally locks him/herself out of the cockpit, or has a medical emergency?
If they engineer a backup auto-pilot-landing system into the aircraft, then why have a pilot in the first place?
I do not think the flying public will stand for it, but I still had to ask the obvious.
